Sally the snake slid across the sand. She loved to spend Saturdays in her special sandbox.
"Sally!" called her sister Susan. "I see something strange in the sky!"
Sally stopped and stared up. A silver spaceship was spinning above the trees!
"So weird!" said Sally. "Let's see where it lands."
The sisters slithered through the grass. They passed Mrs. Squirrel's house and Sam the snail's small store.
"It's stopping by the stream," Susan whispered.
The spaceship settled softly on a smooth stone. Its doors opened with a HISSSS sound.
"Who's inside?" Sally asked.
Out stepped a star-shaped creature with six arms! It was dressed in a sparkly suit.
"Greetings!" said the star. "I'm lost. Can someone show me the way to Saturn?"
Sally and Susan looked at each other. A star asking for directions!
"Saturn is in space," Sally said. "This is Earth."
The star seemed sad. "Oh no! My space GPS must be broken."
Just then, Samson the seal slid down the stream. He was eating spaghetti from a silver spoon!
"What's going on?" asked Samson with his mouth full of sauce.
The star saw Samson's spaghetti and gasped.
"That's just what I need for fuel!" the star said. "May I have some, please?"
Samson smiled. "Sure! I have lots!"
So the star filled its spaceship with spaghetti sauce. The engine started with a SWOOSH!
"Thanks for saving me!" the star called as it soared back to space.
Sally, Susan, and Samson waved goodbye.
"Strangest Saturday ever!" said Sally with a smile.
